Purchased alongside some other pieces from North Yorkshire, this one would have sat on a countertop and was probably put to task when trying on neck ties, hats, gloves and the like.

Its a nice thing with a shaped oak base holding a frameless mirror which pivots by use of a screw and slide steel mechanism. The piece is showing some nice age and the pivot is working as it should offering differing angles. A great period piece for use in the bathroom or bedroom.
