This is an attractive Regency period ebonised pier glass mirror, circa 1815. The mirror has a reverse breakfront cornice over a colourful reverse print on glass depicting classical figures. The rectangular mirror plate is flanked by fluted pilasters. This has appealling neat proportions, measuring 55 cms by 35 cms. The mirror plate is the original glass which is beautifully aged and sugared with much character.
