Circa 1890, exhibition quality late Victorian mahogany and marquetry inlaid cheval mirror. The mirror is contained in shaped frame which is profusely inlaid with foliate and flowers. The frame is supported with 2 rectangular uprights, again smothered in marquetry, which are finished with wonderful little carved finials. Below the mirror is an inlaid cross stretcher supported by 4 splayed feet finishing in brass tipped castors. There is a removable kneeler in the centre. The back of the mirror is panelled in solid oak. The whole piece has a wonderful richness to it, and is in fantastic condition.
