This is a most impressive early 19th Century pier glass with fabulous hand carved gilt-wood detail. The circular central frame is in rich flame mahogany with gilt reeded inner mount and multi giltwood ball detail. The mirror has its original convex glass plate which is in good clean useable condition. The handsome gilt crest has dolphins carved to either side both flanking the fabulous golden eagle.
This substantial piece makes a great impact in any situation measuring cms high by 112 cms high and 72 cms wide at the extremities.
