A fine, most impressive pair of mid 19th century Italian hand gilded mirrors with superb carved detail. Leaf carved borders are raised on hairy paw feet, and the bold pediment is surmounted by an acanthus carved plume. These are in superb original order and retain their original bevelled glass plates. The mirrors measure 65 cms high by 45 cms wide overall.
