This is an a most impressive large mahogany parcel gilt pier glass mirror in the George I style dating from the early 19th century. The solid mahogany frame is richly gilded with attractively detailed applied carving. This is in super order with a good colour and the crest has a fine central swan neck pediment with beautiful central gilded cartouche. The mirror has its original bevelled plate glass which is in excellent, clean condition.
The mirror is in fine order and has most imposing proportions measuring 66 cms wide and 120 cms high.
