Material: Mahogany
Period: Late 19th Century Antiques
This is a very large country house style chinoiserie mirror of triptych form in excellent condition dating from around 1900. The mirror is much larger than the norm for this style and would sit admirably on a substantial chest of drawers or side cabinet. The piece is of very good quality with original bevelled glass plate mirrors and a most attractive chinoiserie gilded design. It is in solid mahogany with hand painted floral and foliate designs with outswept cabriole feet. The frame has blind fret carved detail surmounted by Chinese Chippendale pagoda style finials.
The piece measures 92 cms high. The central mirror is 50 cms wide, the side mirrors are 25 cms wide so overall width is over a metre.
UK delivery can be arranged with our local courier and costs 60 plus vat to most areas.
