This is an elegant Regency period pier glass mirror of good scale in very nice original order. The mirror is the original lead glass plate in good condition with only a few minor marks. The gesso has its original gilding with a good rich colour. The mirror has lovely proportions with attractive flared, ball decorated cornice above the ebonised inner slip which is flanked by two gilt reeded spiral twist columns.
This is and is in really good order for its age ( circa 1820 ) and is a grand size measuring 38″ high by 25″ wide.
