This is an attractive early 19th century hand carved and parcel gilt pier glass dating from around 1830. The rectangular plate is set in a scalloped gilt frame flanked either side by hand carved gilded fruits and leaves. The mahogany surround is in lovely order with a good deep colour and the ornate crest is beautifully carved with a central gilded Ho Ho bird. This has its original plate glass which is in very good, clean condition.
The mirror is in super order and measures 88 cms in height and is 52 cms wide.
