Georgian Dressing Mirror – Trio of Drawers – c1800
A handsome example of an English Georgian Dressing Mirror.
This mid-sized piece is in great order throughout and benefits from triple drawers with oak linings and original pulls and matching lock escutcheon.
The original detailed metalwork is in fine order and the combination of stylish finial and attractively cast side thumb turns delivers a highly desirable item.
The mahogany mirror frame benefits from superb cross-banding to the perimeter which is matched to the flaming across the rest of the body.
The piece sits upon shallow proud block feet. The mirror plate is original, in good order, and shows some marks of age and light foxing.
Overall a really nice Georgian mirror in good order.
