Tall late 19th.c. French trumeau overmantle mirror or pier glass c.1880. Just 34 wide with a painted top panel over a mirror below. Rococo style painting in oil on canvas of three chubby winged cherubs in a landscape playing with doves. Original mirror plate with some minor tarnish typical of age. Both panels within a good carved, pierced and gilded moulding and a painted frame. The frame would appear to have been overpainted which is rubbed through in places, otherwise good unrestored condition with original gilding.
