This is a beautiful French arched overmantle with original gilding and mirror plate. The mirror dates from the late 19th century circa 1870 and is in lovely order, the gilding being quite clean and bright. The mirror has a large decorative crest to the top and good detail to the frame and the original glass is in good clean condition with only minor marks as per its age. The piece retains its original backboards and measures 145 cms high by 86 cms wide overall.
