This is a very attractive 19th century French gilt mirror in nice original condition dating from around 1860. The mirror has its original gilding which is very nicely rubbed back with a lovely red oxide glowing through. The crest has a large shell and scroll design and the mirror glass is the original mercury plate in nice condition overall with only minor ageing to the glass. The original backboards are also present to the back.
The mirror measures 124 cms high by 87 cms wide at the widest points.
