A Regency mahogany cheval mirror. The square uprights with moulded edges, are joined by two cross rails. The lower one being nicely turned. It is standing on sabre legs with brass box casters. The original mirror plate is set in a cross grained and moulded frame. The mirror is held in place by two embossed brass knobs which can be tightened or loosened to adjust the angle of the mirror glass. The piece is toped by a pair of urn finials. The mirror plate however can be replaced by new glass if required.
